The children were excited to be back at Forest School today and what a fun afternoon we had.
“Can we come to Forest School everyday”
We started this week’s session celebrating the 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, the children made crowns and decorated them using items they found in the woodland environment.
While some children enjoyed getting muddy and making mud pies for the Queen.
The children are becoming increasingly independent in their learning and are thinking of ideas of their own to do at Forest School. This week a group of children decided to build dens and find sticks that were the same height as their peers.
The session ended with their idea to climb trees, their climbing abilities were very impressive.
