On a lovely sunny Wednesday morning, the children of Key Stage 2 were fortunate to have a table tennis workshop come to visit the school. After a brief assembly on the basics of the game, demonstrating the difference between forehand and back hand, two ‘volunteers’ were selected; step forward Mr Harrison and Mr Morgan. A brief match took place in which Mr Morgan was crowned champion. The children were then given the opportunity to show off their skills and show what they had learnt. It was a great opportunity for the children to experience a different activity from that which the school would usually offer and develop their hand-eye coordination whilst having a great deal of fun.
