Year 3 have been putting the finishing touches to their own mosaics. They have been studying repeating patterns and learning how a mosaic was made, looking at Roman examples.
Needless to say, the children’s patience was put to the test to make sure that each of their mosaics were not only repetitive but identical. It was a time consuming and slow process but the children worked efficiently, confidently - and produced some quite excellent work.
