The hall was buzzing with anticipation on Thursday afternoon, as the whole school eagerly awaited the final of ‘The Poetry Competition’. Inspired by Roald Dahl, this year’s theme of ‘Dreams and Imagination’ inspired many vibrant performances during the heats in the previous week. The calibre of performances was incredibly high, making life very difficult for the teachers who had to select three finalists from their year group.
Luckily for them, they did not have to choose the overall winners in the final. This job fell to Rosie Gill, Head of Radnor House School in Twickenham. After much deliberating, she decided upon Amy as the overall winner in KS1 and Mohammed-Ali as the overall winner in KS2.
