Year 6 has been celebrating the end of exams by learning about the 'Pop Art' movement and the work of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. After researching the life and works of Warhol, with a particular focus on his repeated images of Marilyn Monroe, they then looked to create their own versions. They had to not only replicate the style of the work but adopt the complementary colour schemes used by Warhol. Have a look at the gallery of images to see their first completed pieces of work.
