In spite of a hectic week of assessments, there was still work to do for Year 6 who were set a task: to compose an engaging book review that would persuade the class to race to the library and read that book. They were given the option to write their review by hand on prompt sheets or utilise their IT skills to create their review. Ultimately it was up to their presentation and speaking skills to win the class over.
The tone of the presentations varied hugely and ranged from the very detailed and reflective, to the more light-hearted and humorous. Mrs Earp was incredibly impressed by how well the class delivered their reviews and also by the intelligent and perceptive questions posed by the panel.
If you need to be inspired when choosing your next book speak to Year 6!
