Shaping Up! This week in science, year 2 have been testing different objects and sorting them according to which actions can be used to change their shapes. The children used a Venn diagram to sort the objects and learned that different objects made from the same material can have different properties. Our favourite word was ‘recover’ … “we can twist it and squash it but the sponge keeps recovering” said one of our budding scientists.
