Year 2 went back in time last week, along with the rest of KS1, as part of “Maths meets History” week. The children were entertained by the Hobgoblin theatre company who enlightened the children about a variety of maths topics, including how the Egyptians came up with an idea for their pyramids. They also heard from a caveman, Robin Hood, the Greeks and many more!
What a fantastic way to learn about maths and how it has been used through the centuries. Year 2 were both entertained and enlightened.
