5H’s DT project on moving vehicles, during which they explored the way in which wheels and axles enable vehicles to move, culminated in a fun session of wacky races in the playground yesterday afternoon. In a series of lessons with Mrs Willis, the children had designed, made and painted their vehicles before they had the fun of racing them in pairs. In the final whole class event Adam T’s car spun to victory – a successful if rather unusual way to cross the finish line!
