Children in Reception were exploring the frost in the herb garden when low and behold they found a large mystery egg!
They have decided that it must be a dinosaur but have not yet agreed on the type of dinosaur or prehistoric bird that might be growing inside.
While they anxiously await the hatching, children have initiated and participated in many activities inspired by the event. Included in the photo gallery are as follows: writing notices to protect the egg, measuring our height with a dinosaur egg shape, junk modelling dinosaurs, creating food for dinosaurs and writing menus.
It could hatch any minute so watch this space for Dino updates!!!
