After a wonderful summer, the warm days, the family fun and the trips abroad - it’s time to welcome KS1 back. An empty and silent school is no contest for a vibrant, buzzy and energised environment. I am pleased to say that the atmosphere returned when the school gates opened!
The children in KS1 were happy to return to school and meet and greet their friends and new teachers. They all arrived with excitement as they entered their classroom – there was a buzz around the school, especially with the new building in place- the children gazed in amazement!
We would all like to welcome our four new children Harry (1C) Zack (2N) Pippa (2N) and not forgetting our new Year 1 class teacher, Mrs Colliver (1C) and LSA, Mrs Stride (1C). We wish you all a productive and successful first year at WGS.
