To finish off the week, Year 2 made jam sandwiches. On Thursday the children had the opportunity to put into practice their understanding of the features of instructions. These included the sequence, layout and language such as bossy verbs and time connectives. They had to think carefully about the order of each step before instructing each other to make their very own sticky jam sandwich!
