Last week, Year 3 and 4 went to the beach for our new topic, ‘Sun, sand and shells!’. We talked about food chains related to the sea, completed scavenger hunt for a range of items that you might find washed up or left at the beach, and look at the landscape and spot what you can ‘sea’! Of course, we made some incredible sandcastles and dug some rather deep holes while we were there too! This trip also started our imaginations thinking about our own story and adventure themed around the beach that we have started this week too!
