Year 3 were given the opportunity to plant some sweetcorn in our new outdoor area. This was the first time that the children had gone into the area as a class and there was great excitement amongst them. The children got a great chance to look at the new bug hotel, pond and sit on the logs in the shade before we began planting our plants. Needless to say, the children enjoyed getting their hands dirty... a future Alan Titchmarsh anyone?
