On a lovely Monday afternoon, Year 5 had the chance to walk to the banks of the Rivers Mole and Ember. This was a great opportunity to look at how a river meanders, deposits and travels before it joins the wealth of the Thames. Needless to say the children enjoyed the chance to be outside, and explore how a river has been influenced by nature and man.
