A number of year 5 pupils were to be found this lunchtime not out in the playground, running around, but sitting quietly with their noses in a good book. Evie and Alice were among several of 5H who were excited to join Mr Bashford's new book club, which meets on Thursday lunchtimes. They were lucky to find a seat - the room was full of children who were delighted by the prospect of being able to spend their free time reading. What a perfect activity for the week when the book fair comes to school!
