As the 11+ examinations creep around the corner, Year 6 has been working hard to not only ensure that their exam techniques are progressing nicely, but that they are "prepped" to tackle the interview stage when it occurs next term. In class they have been pulling together a personal statement to draw together their achievements and successes, utilising help from their peers to fill in any gaps!
In order to get them thinking about how to present themselves and their answers on the day, Mr Harrison paid the first of a series of visits to the children to give them mock interviews and, alongside the others in the class, provide constructive feedback for the next practice. Year 6 was incredibly brave, presented themselves well, and they found the task very useful in preparing for the sort of questions to expect when the time comes.
