This is not as gruesome as it may initially sound! Year 6 has really enjoyed the start to their new science topic this term, particularly as it involved them using both their science and DT skills. In their lesson on finding out how the heart works and what it comprises of, they not only had to show their learning through a diagram but use Plasticine to create a model of it. For an even greater challenge, they had to use different colours to represent oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.....
