Joining Little Prep

Attendance Patterns

We offer two types of attendance pattern to Little Prep families:

Term time only: allows you to select your desired weekly sessions in line with school term dates (c. 35 weeks per year).

Extended care: allows you to select your desired weekly sessions across the full 48 week schedule. (Closure weeks are published in advance of each school year).

Session timings:

The core session times for term-time only pupils is 8.45am-12.15pm (morning session) and 12.15pm-3.15pm (afternoon session), with the option of wrap-around care from 7.45am through to 6pm.

The core session times for extended care pupils is 7.45am-12.15pm (morning session) and 12.15pm-6pm (afternoon session).

Minimum requirement

Whether a child is term-time only or an extended care pupil, a minimum of 4 sessions per week must be booked (either 4 mornings or 2 full days).

Early Years Funding

We offer funded hours between 11:15am and 3:15pm per day, with a maximum of 4 funded hours per day. Funding applies only for the days a child attends. Funding will be calculated based on the original schedule set for the child at the beginning of each term.
