SkillQuest:
Empowering Future-Ready Learners
SkillQuest takes place once per week and is an immersive ‘off-timetable’ experience for all pupils in Reception through to Year 6. Each term, an imaginative theme is launched and each year group receives their own individual ‘quest’. Week by week, they delve deeper into their quest by taking part in collaborative problem-solving activities, experiments and creations.
Creative Thinking is at the heart of the programme, encouraging children to develop imaginative solutions and explore innovative approaches to challenges. By brainstorming and collaborating, they become confident problem-solvers ready to tackle real-world scenarios.
Digital Literacy equips them to navigate the digital age safely and responsibly, mastering tools to communicate effectively and evaluate information critically.
With a focus on Ethical Behaviour and Global Awareness, children learn empathy, respect, and an appreciation for diverse perspectives through structured debates and thoughtful discussions.
Resilience and adaptability are fostered through role-play and engaging conversations, helping children face setbacks with courage and navigate uncertainty positively.
SkillQuest ignites Lifelong Curiosity, encouraging inquiry and dialogue to keep their love of learning alive.
Children learn the value of Collaboration and Service, building teamwork skills and fostering social responsibility.
The programme emphasises Effective Communication, Problem-Solving, and Leadership, empowering children to inspire others and take initiative.
Finally, with a focus on Positive Mental Health Awareness, SkillQuest equips children with mindfulness tools to nurture emotional balance and well-being.
