Nestled behind our homely facade is a surprisingly large school site, with our Reception provision at the very heart. Accessed directly from the outdoors and with their own dedicated covered learning area, the Reception classroom is perfectly placed to offer a sense of belonging and endless inspiration to our 4 and 5 year old learners.

Specialist Teaching, from Day 1

From the very start, Weston Green pupils are taught by staff who have specialist training and knowledge. Reception children receive specialist tuition and coaching in PE, French, music, drama, yoga and gymnastics.

A gentle transition

Our taster sessions start early to ensure our pupils, whether new or from our nursery, feel at ease in their surroundings and confident around their new adults. The taster and induction sessions are gentle and pupil-led, building towards more structured activities as we approach September.

These sessions provide a perfect opportunity for new families to meet other parents and get to know each other prior to September.
