I hope you are well. Will very much enjoyed his visit to Weston Green last week, so I am delighted to be in touch following on from that.
We would love to invite your Year 5 pupils to Claremont for a morning visit during the summer term, and we wondered whether Thursday 12 June might be a date that could work for you. We completely appreciate that it’s a busy time of year with trips, events, and sports days.
Our aim would be to give the children a fun, welcoming experience of Claremont while also allowing them to try out a range of engaging and creative subjects that they may not normally encounter. The morning would be very much hands-on and designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and enjoyment.
We were thinking of a morning structured along the following lines, with pupils rotating in small groups so everyone has the chance to experience something new:
09:35 – 10:45 | Activity 1

• Group 1: Science
• Group 2: Classical Civilisation
• Group 3: Media
• Group 4: Psychology

10:45 – 11:00 | Break time treats / tuck
11:10 – 12:20 | Activity 2

• Group 1: Photography
• Group 2: Product Design / DT
• Group 3: Textiles
• Group 4: Food & Nutrition
