Weston Green School held our Carol services at the beautiful All Saints Church on 8th December. LKS2 had theirs at the end of the school day, followed by an evening candle-lit service for UKS2. The evening service started with the WGS Chamber Choir singing beautifully in harmony from the loft above. This was proceeded by a lone voice floating down singing the first verse of Once in Royal David’s City. From there ensued a beautiful selection of traditional congregational carols, joyous readings and poems, orchestral and instrumental performances and fantastic festive choral performances, sung in English, Latin and Spanish.
A wonderful way to start the festive season whilst reminding ourselves what Christmas is all about.
