Our aim is to provide children with opportunities to achieve their academic potential within an environment where they feel valued, fulfilled, confident and emotionally secure. We provide a curriculum which is broad, stimulating, and relevant and acknowledges the academic requirements of all the schools that our pupils will transfer to.
The school has excellent relationships with our feeder schools and we are continually developing further connections with senior schools. This valuable link enables us to ensure all pupils are well prepared for assessment, and we take great pride in achieving many first choice offers.
Regular information evenings for parents and pupils help to explain the processes and preparations for 11+ examinations for future schools and individual meetings with parents in Y5 help parents to make appropriate school choices for their child.
11+ offers
For many years every Year 6 Weston Green pupil has gained entry to a school of their choice, with many pupils receiving offers from all of their senior school applications. Each year a range of scholarships are also secured, including music, art, drama, sport and academic scholarships.
