A love of reading is the core of how we teach reading, and the importance of reading, at Weston Green. Our wonderful library and our passionate reader teachers ensure that our children are motivated to read, enjoy talking about their books and are inspired to find the next great book. We vary our texts to ensure that we offer a diverse range of reading materials with characters, cultures and experiences that our children can identify with or be interested in. We want reading to ignite curiosity, spark creativity and stimulate the imagination. We know that if you read, you succeed.
