During our Viking Day, our lucky Year 4 children stepped into the shoes of Vikings and embarked on a journey through time like never before. 
Each delved into the world of these legendary warriors, participating in a variety of hands-on activities led by our real life Viking, Ash. From raiding monasteries and trading in Byzantium to learning about Viking gods and mythology, each activity provided a rich and immersive learning experience.
With replica artefacts at their fingertips, the children explored the tools, clothing, weapons, and armour that were integral to Viking daily life. 
It was a day filled with excitement, discovery, and learning as our young historians embraced the spirit of adventure and curiosity.
