African Activities

African Workshop

Yesterday, our Year 4 and Pre Prep children had an enriching and exciting experience with African Activities, who provide African-themed school workshops. They took part in an array of activities, starting with an energetic and engaging drumming session, learning about rhythm and teamwork. The dance workshops followed, filled with high-energy moves as the children learned traditional African dances.

The storytelling workshops captivated the children with tales of Anansi, the cheeky West African spider. Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is reflected in these activities, as they provide a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Africa. Through drumming, dancing, and storytelling, Weston Green School is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
