Last week, Year 4 children successfully completed their English Speaking Board (ESB) Entry Level 2 assessments. Our young learners demonstrated exceptional speaking and listening skills through a series of impressive presentations on a diverse range of topics, which clearly reflected their hard work and dedication over the past months.
Creative and Engaging Presentations
The effort invested in preparing their boards was abundantly evident, as the children presented creative and engaging displays that captured their individual interests and passions. Among the wide array of fascinating topics were favourite games and hobbies, various countries and their cultures, memorable holidays, beloved pets, and even the intriguing stories of Greek myths. The enthusiasm and depth of knowledge shared by each pupil were truly commendable, showcasing the considerable effort and thought that went into each presentation.
Beyond their informative presentations, the children also captivated their audience with expressive readings of poems and excerpts from books. Their ability to bring literature to life through clear articulation and expressive delivery was particularly impressive. Each reading highlighted not only their understanding of the material but also their skill in engaging and holding the attention of their audience.
Appreciation for support
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents and carers for the invaluable support provided at home. The encouragement and assistance offered played a crucial role in helping the students prepare and perform with confidence and poise.
Celebrating Achievements
Congratulations to all our Year 4 for their remarkable achievements. Their hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances have set a high standard and are a source of pride for our school community. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in the future.
