Exceptional Talent
Weston Green School is proud to announce that we have achieved our best year yet in sporting accomplishments. Our children have demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, bringing home numerous accolades and setting new standards for our athletic programme.
This year, our Bellevue Girls Hockey team emerged victorious, clinching the top spot and showcasing their prowess on the field. We are equally proud of our National Champion in Ball Throwing, who has defended their title for the second consecutive year, a testament to their hard work and determination.
In ISA Cricket, our team secured a commendable 4th place in the region, reflecting our solid performance and strategic gameplay. Our participation in ISA Athletics was marked by unprecedented success, with our athletes winning six gold medals at the regional level, the highest in our school’s history.
Our ISA Girls Netball team finished 10th in the country, while also being crowned Regional Champions, highlighting their consistent excellence and competitive spirit. The mixed hockey team also triumphed as Regional Champions, further adding to our list of achievements. Additionally, our boys’ hockey team showcased their skills by finishing as runners-up in the ISA Plate, placing 6th in the country.
Our National Girls Hockey team also achieved an impressive 6th place finish in the country, rounding out a phenomenal year across various sports. These successes are a reflection of the excellent tutoring provided by our dedicated, experienced, and talented sports coaches, who continuously inspire and guide our students to reach their full potential.
