Upper Prep had an amazing opportunity to go on a ski trip to Les Menuires, a beautiful resort in the French Alps. The trip was a great success, as the children had immense fun and learned new skills on the slopes.
We stayed in a cozy hotel with stunning views of the mountains. The children were divided into groups according to their skiing abilities, and each group had a qualified instructor who taught them the basics of skiing and safety.
We spent six days skiing on the slopes, enjoying the fresh snow and the sunny weather. They also had some free time to explore the resort, play games and watch movies as well as take part in karaoke. The children showed great enthusiasm, perseverance, and teamwork, as they improved their skiing skills and supported each other. They also made some new friends from other schools who joined us on the trip.
The children received certificates and medals from their ski instructors and we also held an awards night, where the children’s many other new skills were acknowledged. The children were sad to say goodbye to their instructors, the resort staff and their newly made friends.
The ski trip was a wonderful experience for our children, as they learned new skills, had fun, broadened their horizons and developed their independence. We are very proud of them and their achievements, and we hope they will cherish the memories of this trip for a long time.
