Butterfly Sponge Printing
Creating butterfly prints with sponges is a simple and fun way to channel their creativity and produce some colourful art whilst also learning about symmetry. Watch this tutorial to see the easy process.
1. Place an elastic band in the centre of your sponge to create the wings.
2. Squeeze paint onto one side of the sponge
3. Fold the sponge in half to transfer the paint evenly on both sides.
4. Unfold the sponge and press it firmly onto paper to create the print.
5. Remove the sponge to unveil your print. After it dries, use a pen to add a body and antennae.
